Hi Friends! How was your weekend?? Anything fun and exciting going on? Halloween festivities??
We jetted off on Friday for a weekend adventure to the land of Utah. I will try to limit my words since I have an absolute photo overload post for you!!
On Friday, we made the trip to Dinosaur, Utah. Brooke is currently OBSESSED with dinos, so it was right up her alley! We really did not know what to expect, but it was awesome.
We had an amazing campsite! And loved exploring!! PS that water is COLD.

A brisk morning on Saturday started off with more sand play. These guys cant get enough!
And all.the.coffee.
We packed up camp and moved on to the desert landscape of McCoy Flats in Vernal, Utah.
Brooke was the first on her bike at camp…and also, the first on the ground. Stuck. Haha.

Ken went out for a mountain bike ride and I followed after for an hour…and then sent him out for a second hour.

We headed into town to try a restaurant that someone recommended to Ken. It was unfortunately closed, but we hit up Cafe Rio (my first time!) and it was amazing!!
So was the sunset 😉
Sunday morning was supposed to see Ken head out for a ride. Unfortunately, a part of his bike had broken and he was out of luck. I felt a bit guilty as I headed out for a 2 hour ride. Thanks for cleaning up all of camp, Ken 🙂
It was brisk, but GORGEOUS!
While I was out, Ken, Brooke and Jasper hiked the mountain next to camp!
After a quick shower and clothing change, we were loaded up and headed home (with a random stop at a park for Brooke to play)!
Made it home in time for Ken to get in a ride on a different bike before enjoying a quick dip in the hot tub followed by some quality fire time!!
What a wonderful weekend getaway….though it is always nice to be home!
Now we are just recovering and cleaning up the trailer. It is COLD here today, so inside it is! Brooke is excited to go Trick or Treating tomorrow. Hopefully it doesnt snow 😉
