Hi there! Jumping back into things over here after a busy but kind of boring last week. Somehow we had a lot going on, but it was pretty relaxed?
Some highlights:
*Brooke swim lessons=2 days of lifting.
*Brooke rode her bike for the first time without training wheels on the bike path in town?!?!
*Packed up the camper and left town! π
Last Thursday and Friday looked a lot like this….
It absolutely did great things for the lingering flames and smoke!
Friday afternoon, we loaded up into the truck and headed for the Snowy Mountain Range in Wyoming. It was a quick 2.5 hours from town. As we approached the range, we could tell that we were taking a trip into winter. The temperature kept dropping and we were quickly welcomed by snow.
We may have spent most of Friday night and Saturday morning staying warm in the trailer. Snowed all night. Ha!
Luckily, Saturday afternoon ended up being brisk and windy, but we were able to get outside and do some playing!
The scenery was GORGEOUS! Jasper and Brooke couldnt get enough!
Just riding her bike around camp!
Yes, we dress really classy when we camp…especially when it is freezing!
Got out for a beautiful 2 mile hike!
Casually going up a mountain.
Way cooler than me.
On Sunday, it was warm enough to head out for a mountain bike ride! Errin, Ken and I ventured out for about an hour and a half. The views were out of this world!
Seriously, rad.
After packing up, we headed home through the most picturesque country.
Got home in time to throw together some dinner and hit the hot tub before crashing on the couch!
Yesterday, Brooke and I spent most of the day cleaning up and unpacking. She came out of her room in the morning in her tutu. Perfect way to start the day!
Ken was able to get out of work at 5, which meant that I didnt have to fight the wind with the trailer, but was able to go for a ride solo!
These views sure dont disappoint!
Today was uber windy and we didnt really feel like being outside much. This equated to deep cleaning the kitchen and playing inside for the day! Jasper took full advantage of the lazy feel and relaxed in all.the.blankets.
Now I am spending my evening saying hi to you before working on prepping my next class! Spent an hour on the trainer today so I can call it good for the day π
