Happy Sunday! I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful weekend with the wonderful people in your life. We are enjoying some sunshine for the first time in a while (or it least it seems that way!).
Some quick highlights from the last few days!
Friday:
Since we had to run into town for a few errands, Brooke requested taking her bike to the bike path. She killed it with a 2 mile ride (only one break) and I got a nice little jog along side her!
She takes cycling very seriously.
She also wanted to try out her fishing pole. There wasn’t a hook on it and she couldn’t figure out why she wasn’t catching anything 😉
Ken got off work a bit early, so after he rode home I got to go out on my bike! I got in just over an hour with some crazy wind on the way home.
Prepped this guy. Yes please.
And paired it with this greatness that a very nice person sent me 😉
Kombucha con alcohol. Does it get any better? The flavor was a little different, but the overall effect was perfect 🙂
Yesterday we woke up to rain (that lasted all day). Ken was supposed to ride with a group, but that got canceled due to the crazy weather (hello, hail).
This made me feel like we live in Jurassic Park.
I feel ya, bro.
Instead of playing outside, we got to work on more projecting. Replaced all of the screens in our house!
Finally finished my shelves and put them on the walls! Time to decorate now!!
Got out for an easy and mega muddy 3 mile jog. I was gross after those 3 miles.
This morning we went to church and I was supposed to do my “long” run on the way home, but Ken found out that his group ride got rescheduled and they were just happening to come up in our direction, so he is out riding and I will run when he gets home. 🙂 Marriage is workout compromise, right? 😉
Hope you have an amazing rest of your Memorial Day weekend. Thank you to all of you who have served!!
Sounds like you had a very full an busy weekend – certainky made the most of it!
We had a bank holiday here in the UK too, I was taking part in my first 10km race 😀
Really great pictures, the weather ones are particularaly broody!
