Tuesday Catch Up.

on May 24, 2017

It is the end of Tuesday, already. Where did the last two days go?!

Weekend highlights:

  1. Ran 12 miles Saturday. Foot didn’t die.
  2. Ran 5 miles Sunday (3 tempo). Felt foot. Didn’t die.
  3. Started 27 projects around the house. Husband left me. I kid.*
  4. Raked for 2 hours prepping the ground for grass seed. May never stand up straight again.
  5. Monday came too soon.

*Dont worry, I will share the projects when they are completed ๐Ÿ˜‰ Pulling out the bathroom vanity was maybe a little passive-aggressive. Good thing he loves me.

Does anyone else’s house look like this on Sunday afternoon? I feel like the only way we get things done is by letting Brooke make a disaster out of the rest of the house. Face palm.

We are still playing with our wacky weather here. Yesterday was spent working on some of the said projects and then hiding inside from some hail and rain.

Brooke and I took advantage of the pretty morning and put together our awesome patio umbrella. Less than an hour after this picture was taken, it started to hail. Perfect.

While it was storming, Brooke thought it would be a good idea to cover up the pup and read him some stories. Please excuse the leg, she had muddy pants on ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hopped on the trainer for an hour in the afternoon before heading into town for a couple of errands and to pick up the husband. Something about not wanting to ride his bike home in a hail storm.

Today we had a bit nicer weather. Still a bit cloudy and cool, but not much rain.

We spent the morning working on some projects before heading out side for a bit. I got in an easy 3 mile run with Brooke and Jasper before hitting the trainer for an hour.

Brooke had control of my camera and here are a few gems from her shoot.

Wonder where she gets it.

Clearly she was going for an artsy shot of the clouds in the windows?

Bucket of rocks…our skills are about the same when it comes to picture taking.

Me in my super sexy attire. Thanks, B. Projecting!

I tend to opt out of the power and phone lines in my pics, but Brooke feels that they are important.

Everything is turning GREEN!!!

Spent the evening working on creating vanity counter templates and entering due dates for my upcoming classes. The thrills never end!

Time to go to bed so that I can wake up and enjoy what is supposed to be a 70 degree day tomorrow. Sunshine, here we come!!
