Popping in to say hi and remind you that tomorrow is Friday. I’m sure that thought hadn’t crossed your mind yet 😉
Rewind to yesterday for a sec. It was cold and rainy and yucky all day. So we decided to go to the pool. Logical.
Started the morning with some coffee quickly followed by some Golden Milk. Tasty.
Since we were just kind of messing around in town for the day, Brooke convinced me that we needed to check on the chicks. They keep growing.
She LOVES them.
We ran a couple of other errands, grabbed some “kid coffee” and headed to the pool. There was pretty much no one there and some how the sun came out for the time we were there?! And then it rained for the rest of the day 😉
Brooke had a quality tea party with some friends.
Jasper decided that a nap was more important.
We spent the rest of the day hanging out around the house playing. Once Brooke went to bed for the night, I headed downstairs to ride the trainer for an hour. It was a blast. (Sarcasm).
This morning, we woke up to the gorgeous sunshine. It was amazing.
I jetted out for 3 miles of running this morning after breakfast. Came home, showered and made a protein shake and COFFEE before getting Brooke ready to head out for ballet.
After dancing like a crazy person, Brooke requested a ride on the bike path (something about the smooth surface). I tried to follow her in the boot. It was a challenge. About time to ditch those training wheels, kid!
It was tank top weather!! Well, 60 degrees and sunny equals tank tops here. We be crazy.
After a few errands, we were ready to make the trek homeward. I found the sweetest Mother’s Day gift in my mailbox from my Mom. Because she is the type that likes to celebrate other’s over herself. Dont worry, Mom-your package should be there tomorrow 😉
The shirt totally matches my boot! Perfect.
I kind of feel that the 4 year old height isn’t a flattering photo angel 😉
Jasper looks great from her height though 🙂
