The weekend is upon us! HOORAY!!!
55 degrees and sunny here today. We dont quite know what to do with ourselves. This morning, we spent some time outside starting to weed our flower gardens. That snow is receding pretty fast and we are a little bit too excited to see dirt again. Jasper didnt complain about the hours spent playing outdoors. š
Brooke couldnt believe her eyes when she spotted our bulbs starting to pop up from the dirt. Cannot wait to see these flowers. Working in the dirt made me itch to get to working on our yard when we are safely outside of freeze potential…if that even exists here.
Brooke requested lunch on the porch today. How do you say no to that?! No jackets?!?!
After lunch (and before the wind started to blow-it does that in the afternoons a lot this time of the year), I convinced Brooke that we should take a little bike ride. It was BEYOND gorgeous out and we (mostly) beat the wind.
We did 14ish miles and we did much better with the Weehoo today! Averaged about 135 watts which is my base, so it was pretty much perfect. Got to say hi to our cow, dog and horse friends.
Only trippy part was coming upon a lower limb (complete with hoof) in the middle of the road. Luckily, Brooke didnt see it. That’s going to be a fun one to explain. Country living at its finest. Also, I dont really want to meet whatever animal dropped it 
Brooke’s currently begging to go in the hot tub, so I guess that we are headed in there for a bit. Then it is time to finish getting dinner together. Corned beef and cabbage anyone?! Hope you have a great St. Patrick’s Day evening! (I love holidays that have a meal planning guide!).
